Brilliant!
Brilliant film. Anne Baxter was so scary, and I loved their happy family.

Enjoyable
The best part of this noir film is the acting. All parts were palyed well. Ann Baxter was a very believeable neurotic/psycopath. Ralph Bellamy, Aline MacMahon, adn the rest of the crew made this movie entertaining. The first half is somewhat slow, but the intensity picks up to make a very watchable film..

An entertaining B picture
Anne Baxter plays mind games in a rehersal for her Eve Harrington role. Solid and unspectacular Ralph Bellamy is miscast as the focus of her attention.

This is one of the best I've seen on this site! Great story, terrific cast with Anne Baxter at her evil best. Per Imdb this film was an Oscar nominatee and its no wonder! A guaranteed winner!!
